The Sears parking lot would be ideal, or the lower Macy's parking lot. Since most people in SB are actively clean and green, getting there is a breeze on MTD (#s 3, 5, 6, 7, 11).

Has to be a location where the most number of people can access it with the least amount of driving. I live 2 miles away and bike to it. Does the market even know where most of the people attending live? I know the merchants don't like the idea but doing it on State St Tuesdays and Saturdays would work fine for me.

People who attend live all over town. More people drive there than walk or bike. Mainly because when you are a serious market shopper, your bags will be far too much to carry. I will shop at the Market wherever it ends up, as will most people. No one likes change including me, and I think that’s a terrible spot for the police station. But the market will be fine. Everyone will follow.

What about using Earl Warren Showgrounds? The Farmers Mkt can pay them rent, plenty of parking, easy access and maybe they could incorporate other events like craft fairs etc.

A “listening workshop” really? That’s ridiculous. When did a community forum become a listening workshop? The City Government didn’t listen before, are they actually going to now?
