Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to an early morning blaze in a Santa Maria field.
After 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, crews arrived off E. Stowell Road, just east of Highway 101, and discovered a large fire with flames visibile from the highway.
Crews learned that six tractors with trailers were fully engulfed in flames. They quickly extinguished the fire with help from the Santa Maria Fire Department.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
