Carpinteria businesses hope to bounce back after a beachfront bummer during the freeway closure and mudflow disaster.

Carpinteria businesses from Linden Avenue to Santa Claus Lane did not have boulders or mud around their properties but they have felt direct impacts from the January 9, 2018 disaster.   Now they are trying to hang on from a big financial setback and hope for a rebound this spring and summer.
