Entirely agree with your 8 recommendations. Unfortunately bicyclists feel that they own the world and have no need to follow rules. They ride essentially respecting nothing and no one. They will insult you copiously if they feel that you don’t jump out of their way fast enough.
It’s amazing to see how many ride in the dark with no light or reflector and cut across the street to turn left or right with no conscience of other traffic.
