On 10-21-2019, at approximately 1043 hours, the above pictured suspect produced a handgun and attempted to rob a victim of her money. This incident took place in a residential neighborhood in the north/west portion of Lompoc. The suspect ran from the scene after the victim told him she did not have any money and screamed. Lompoc Patrol Officer’s converged on the scene and set up a perimeter in the area. An extensive search was conducted, but the suspect was not located. Nearby surveillance was obtained, which showed the suspect, as he fled from the area. The Lompoc Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public to help identify the suspect.
