Attempted Murder Arrest

On May 12, 2017 at 1116 hours, patrol officers were called to the 300 block of E Newlove Dr regarding a stabbing. Upon arriving, the officers found Silvia Narciso, 40 years of age and Ricardo Ramirez, 41 years of age suffering from stab wounds. 

Simultaneously officers found the suspect Jhordy Ramirez, 21 years of age. Jhordy was armed with a knife and at first refused to drop it. After a brief standoff, officers finally convinced Jhordy to drop the knife. As they approached Jhordy to arrest him, he appeared to be trying to rearm himself. An officer used his Taser on Jhordy and officers were able to subdue him. 

Silvia Narciso and Ricardo Ramirez where both taken to the hospital for treatment. Jhordy was also taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained prior to his arrest.

The suspect Jhordy Ramirez is the son of Silvia Narciso and Ricardo Ramirez. The motive for the stabbing is still unclear and under investigation. 

Jhordy Ramirez is under arrest for attempt murder. A booking photo is not available at the time of this news release.
