101 Southbound State Beaches Offramp/Exit Closed

The 101 Southbound State Beaches exit (after Mussel Shoals, near Hobson State Park) is closed. All commuters trying to reach La Conchita must drive all the way to Ventura in order to exit the 101. Caltrans has no signage to indicate closure, so if you do not have enough gas in your tank, you will not make it. Attempts to notify Caltrans via phone directly resulted in messages left. Trying to make direct contact with CHP or Caltrans to notify of impact. Caltrans once again displaying that they are one of the most short sighted, inept, mismanaged government entities in the state.
