It has been a hard year and I'm looking to bring the Christmas spirit early for my family. Is there a Christmas lot that is open now instead of waiting until after thanksgiving? Thanks.
Since most trees are trucked here from the Pacific Northwest and, given the sharp rise in gas/diesel prices this past year, it will be interesting to see how the prices compare to the recent past.
Merry Christmas!
The Trinity lot at N. La Cumbre and Foothill opens after Thanksgiving as well. All proceeds go towards the support of the community garden which contributes fresh produce to the Organic Soup Kitchen and other local nonprofits. Buy a tree and support local organizations!
How about instead decorate trees rooted in the ground? Don't cut down trees just to be thrown out in a month, yes they will be recycled but this is a waste of water and a trees life....COP27 was a failure
Thank you Sun for sharing your thoughts - very good advice indeed.... I'll add a thought as well, consider buying a ball and burlapped tree to decorate and then plant after the holidays. Plant it in your yard or in an open area.
On the topic of live trees to plant later, any leads on finding a 5'-7' potted or burlap tree locally? Or even a day trip away? Years ago I kept a very pretty redwood tree for several years in a row and ultimately planted it.
