Whittier Fire Close to Broadcast Peak

Sunday morning the Whittier fire was creeping dangerously close to the equipment on Broadcast Peak on West Camino Cielo. All day Sunday there was an intense air attack, with bombers and helicopters on a steady rotation keeping the fire on the backside of the mountains.

Jul 10, 2017 04:59 PMKCSB 91.9 FM call them, as broadcast peak is under siege and their antenna was smoked out. 805 893-2424. They always have local news updated during emergencies. You can still get them online at www.kcsb.org .
