Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a reported traffic collision and vehicle fire on Friday.
At 5:47 p.m., crews arrived in the area of SR-246 and Ballard Canyon.
They discovered two passenger vehicles had collided nearly head-on with one sedan catching fire.
Crews knocked the fire down within ten minutes of arriving.
There were no injuries.
Ballard Canyon was closed in both directions for a time period for an investigation into the cause of the collision.
