A local art gallery is asking for the public's help in finding two vandals who allegedly shattered a glass window of their storefront.

Waterhouse Gallery inside the La Arcada Plaza at 1114 State Street reportedly captured video of two suspects shattering a large plate glass window at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27.

A photo of the surveillance video that depicts the two suspects is provided below.

If anyone recognizes them, they're asked to call the Santa Barbara Police Department at 805-897-2355 and reference incident number 17-79020.

The Waterhouse Gallery is a local business established in 1984 by Ralph and Diane Waterhouse and has been located in the La Arcada courtyard since 1991.

I don’t have to “explain” my opinion to you, for crying out loud. I’m sorry if it wasn’t positive or pretty enough for you.

Flicka: CREEPY = Benjamin Franklin owned two slaves ("George" and "King"). I think we can all agree that having statues of slave owners in La Arcada is....."creepy." Not to mention that Ol' Ben the slave owner is "manspreading" for the world to see - disgusting to say the least. The statue should be removed.

When you have nothing better to do than destroy beautiful things there is nothing better than an extended rest in the county lockup to think. That is pretty much all you can do there besides protect yourself.

In this day and age, technology is very inexpensive. There are video camera systems for $500 that you could have a clear, non-grainy photo such as this one AND have live video. This photo is a sad joke. I'm starting to wonder if businesses think it's easier to write off a loss than put up a small up-front cost for security. Maybe pinging the insurance company is easier for a small business than it is to worry about security in the first place.

The goof in the front appears to have a strange "chimpy" walking gait. Good chance he has some sort of nickname...Chimps...Chimpy...Chimpers...Bubbles...Bonzo....Gorilla...Magilla...or similar..
