Two cars were badly damaged by a falling tree at an apartment complex in Carpinteria.
The roots were deteriorated by the drought and the tree fell due to soggy soil and gusty winds. This was on January 1st.

Jan 02, 2023 01:53 PMWe are so glad that we paid to have my neighbor's eucalyptus cut to the ground. We figured it would be cheaper than having our house and/or cars smashed...or worse. We now spend a lot less time cleaning up the mess and stepping on those rock-hard pointy GD seed pods. Those lil' b as tards send a pain from your foot through your brain when you step on them in bare feet!!!

but from the drought. They were dead and would have come down. Get good tree care!
