Firefighters Extinguish Shed Fire in Downtown Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara City firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire in the 1400 block of Euclid Avenue, near the intersection of Sola Street.

At 1:33 p.m. Wednesday, crews responded to the area after receiving reports of heavy smoke and flames.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered two sheds on fire. Crews quickly went to work to minimize damage to the adjacent homes.

Crews are currently on the scene and are advising people to stay clear of the area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
