Santa Barbara County firefighters contained a 2-acre brush fire on the Greka Oil property in the Santa Maria Valley on Saturday morning.
At 9:57 a.m., county fire crews with a Santa Maria Fire Department engine responded to 5080 Black Road, just north of Casmalia, and discovered a 1/2 acre vegetation fire in light grass.
After an hour, crews were able to hold and contain the fire at 2 acres.
A fire investigator is determining the cause, no other information is available at this time.
