Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputies used their personal money to help get a stranded man home this past week.
On Thursday, an elderly man accidentally got off at the wrong train stop and missed the last bus to his home in San Luis Obispo County.
With no other way to get home, local Deputies gathered their own money and helped give him a safe ride home.
Another feel-good news story from our local community, well done Deputies!
