Santa Maria Man Arrested on Possessing Child Abuse Material

On Thursday, December 16, 2021, Detectives from the Santa Maria Police Department Detective Bureau- Special Victim’s Unit, conducted search warrant operation in the City of Santa Maria.

In early December, detectives received information that a male subject, identified as Francisco Jonathan Colima, 29 years, and a resident of Santa Maria, was involved in the contacting of minors over the internet for the purpose of obtaining Child Sexual Abuse Material, commonly referred to as child pornography. He was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on Child Sexual Abuse Material related charges, with bail set at $100,000.
