  1. Violent street gangs. Good old fashion rumbles went away along with the dinosaurs. I had a supervisor who grew up in Chicago and he was a mediator for street gangs. He told me one time that a rumble was going to place between two rival gangs. One gang member brought a handgun, and both opposing gang members froze up. The rival gang leader told the other gang leader you all broke the rules. That gang leader told the rival gang leader we had no idea that his gang member was going to bring a handgun. So that gang leader told other members to beat up their gang member that brought the handgun to the rumble, and apologized to the rival gang leader and to his gang members. I guess that is called honor between gangs back in the 50’s and early 60’s.
