Multiple Vehicle Collisions Near Buellton on Highway 101

County firefighters were able to use a rotary saw to clear the K-rail from Highway 101 to assist in the reopening of the number one lanes in both directions.

Santa Barbara County firefighters are responding to multiple vehicle collision on Highway 101 near Buellton.

At 8:30 p.m. crews responded to the first collision just south of Jonata Park where a solo vehicle crashed into the center divider.

There was only one occupant in the vehicle and no injuries.

The second collision was nearby and involved three vehicles, also non injury to the occupants.

Fire crews ar eworking on guard-rail and road clearing.

The number one lane is temporarily closed in both the northbound and southbound directions.

All collisions are under investigation.
