A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries following a collision with a vehicle on Highway 154 Friday evening.
At 9:12 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters, a ground ambulance, and Calstar helicopter responded to 3550 Highway 154, just east of the Lake Cachuma entrance.
Upon arrival, crews found a motorcycle rider with significant trauma. Paramedics began advanced life support as the patient was packaged and transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via Calstar helicopter. The current condition of the victim is unknown.
There were traffic restrictions in the area and the cause of the collision is under investigation by law enforcement.
