No, obviously not a responsible gun owner. Although we don’t know the full story yet.
Hey, people get in trouble for saying all Muslims are bad because a few do horrible things for the sake of their religion. Please don’t go around mocking responsible gun owners because some idiot is walking around armed to the teeth.
In this case it wasn’t even a gun. So to add to your analogy it would be like saying all religions are bad because one guy from the church of the flying spaghetti monster decided to do something terrible. Just because you are scared of a piece of metal that happens to have the capability of flinging lead very quickly in a specific and targeted direction doesn’t mean that everyone who is not afraid of metal things that can be dangerous needs to be told how you know better. Sounds like we had some very responsible police/ gun owners who were able to de escalate what could have been a deadly mistake.
Well, people who live in an evidence-based world and look at epidemiological data know that every study of the effect of firearms availability on society has shown that more guns mean more crime and more death. And the religion in this case is gun worship.
So should we ban alcohol? Cars? Toy guns? You know everything about guns except how to use one safely and you think I am impressed that you can pick statistics that fit your fear based perspective.
Changing the subject again? I’m not collecting and analyzing the data. And you know nothing about my familiarity with firearms. Any more strawman arguments up your sleeve?
