Late Night Kitchen Fire in Goleta

No injuries were reported in a residential kitchen fire in Goleta late Tuesday night.

At 10:46 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the 100 block of Kalley Drive and discovered a working fire located in the kitchen area of a duplex.

Four engines, one truck company, and a Battalion Chief responded to the scene. Crews stretched hose lines, vented the structure, and conducted a primary search. 

The fire was knocked down and there were no injuries.

The cause remains under investigation.
