Hazardous investigation of a large amount of oil washing up near the Coral Casino at 1260 Channel Drive.
Any update on this? Was it a spill?
Isn’t oil washing up because of the derricks normal?
No, it isn't normal.
I was just wondering. Thanks
I applaud you, Pug!!!! That was only one of many. Oh, to read between the blurred lines ...
No need to get snippy
That was all I heard.
If it's oil, it's spilled and ruining the environment, then Greka Oil Co. must be behind it somehow.
Use it to insulate dugout canoes - would be a nice family project to make one while quarantined.
Actually it wasn't used in dugout canoes as an insulator and not not needed to seal them as they were made from solid driftwood logs. Also only used in Tomols to glue and seal between the planks.
It is, in fact, natural to have oil on our local beaches....It's called the Santa Barbara Channel with fissures that release oil- ESPECIALLY when there is no drilling occurring.
