Four Injured in Hope Ranch Vehicle Rollover

Four people became injured following a vehicle rollover in Santa Barbara’s Hope Ranch neighborhood early Sunday.

At 2:03 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Las Palmas Drive near Paloma Drive for a reported collision. 

Upon arrival crews found a BMW sedan had rolled over and struck a fire hydrant and fence. The sheared hydrant was spewing water all over the roadway.

Two men and two women inside the vehicle were extricated. Two of them suffered critical injuries, one with a moderate injury, and one with a minor injury. All were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
