Fatal Vehicle Rollover Near Los Alamos

One person has died and another is severely injured in a vehicle rollover near Los Alamos on Wednesday.

At 9:38 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Highway 101 southbound, just north of Palmer Road, and discovered a single vehicle collision.

A van carrying two adult males had rolled over in the roadway.

One was pronounced dead on the scene while the other sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

The County Fire Department is urging motorists to drive with caution due to weather impacts.
