Hundreds of local children wore colorful costumes for the annual El Desfile de los Niños (Children's Parade) on Saturday morning.

At 10:00 a.m. parents and fiesta'ers lined up on State Street to watch the charming Children's Parade, organized by the City Parks and Recreation Department.

The parade proceeded down State Street, from Victoria Street to Ortega Street.

I don't like all the drunks and the imported cops, but oh, the rest of Fiesta is glorious! LOVE the parades! And the tamales!

Great to see all these kids (both young and old) having fun! I still remember the old days when office workers would throw coins down onto the street for kids to pick up - we'd go buy ice cream at Woolworth's or Thrifty's. Nice of Marborg to provide ice cream now. And nice group photo with the first Spirit of Fiesta, Lia parker (1949).
