Potential adopters have a golden opportunity to find their new best friend at Santa Barbara Humane Society this Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday, November 27 and Friday, November 29, adopters can name their price for all adult animals 6 months and over. Typically, the adoption fee for an adult dog at Santa Barbara Humane Society is $125 and the adoption fee for adult cats is $10.

In addition to adult animals having name-your-own price adoption fees, adopters can take advantage of an ongoing kitten promotion at Santa Barbara Humane Society. All kittens are two for the price of one.

Kerri Burns, the Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Humane Society, hopes that the shelter will be bustling during this event. “This event is such a wonderful opportunity for the community to come out and meet our amazing adoptable animals. We want all of the

pets in our care to find their forever families and a home for the holidays. This promotion can help us achieve that goal.”

While Santa Barbara Humane Society is usually closed to the public on Wednesdays, the shelter will be open from 12 – 5 PM this Wednesday for the Black Friday event. On Friday, the shelter will keep its normal hours of 11 AM – 6 PM. Santa Barbara Humane Society will be closed on Thursday, in observance of Thanksgiving.
