Barn Fire in Orcutt

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a barn fire in Orcutt on Saturday.
At 4:29 p.m., crews arrived near San Antonio East and Highway 135 and discovered the large barn fully involved in fire.
There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.

Jan 18, 2022 07:45 AMI certainly hope that this was not arson. Arsonists burned our family barn that was built by my great grandfather. The 40 ft tall silos were made of clear, old growth Redwood and would have lasted centuries had they not burned. Very glad that there were no injuries.
