ABOUT THE FIFTH ELEMENT

New York City, 2263. Korben Dallas, an ex-soldier turned luckless cab driver, has just picked up the kind of fare that only comes along every five thousand years: Leeloo, the perfect being… the perfect weapon. Together, they must save the world from the universe’s ultimate evil. An extravagantly-styled 23rd century tale of good versus evil, this outrageous sci-fi adventure from acclaimed director Luc Besson stars Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich and Gary Oldman. (Luc Besson, 1997, PG-13, 126 min.)
