Amtrak train vs shopping carts. I can't tell the exact location but heard them go north a bit ago, probably somewhere between Santa Barbara and El Capitan, just guessing.

That is dangerous, what if the people on the Amtrak were injured, there are way too many homeless people living on the tracks, or around. I think that the police not only need to fix the sidewalks, and crackdown on illegal camping, and homeless, problem in old town, and Goleta. What if those carts caused a horrible accident with many lives lost, then, maybe, the police and whoever, would pay attention to to the problem. THERE IS FAR TOO MANY HOMELESS PEOPLE LIVING ON ,AROUND THE FIELDS AND TRACKS. WE NEED TO DO MORE TO CHANGE THIS,,,WHY SPEND EXTREME AMOUNTS OF MONEY ON BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS, BUILD MORE SHELTERS, MORE PLACES TO HELP PEOPLE THAT AREN'T RICH, THE PROBLEM IS JUST NOT GOING TO GO AWAY, WE NEED NEED MORE COMPASSION, MORE, LOVE, MORE GIVING, MORE HELPING.

Some sort of gizmo that locks the wheels if anyone attempts to take it off the shop-owners' property are available. (I think Santa Cruz Mkt has them.) Anyway, that would prevent stealing and disposing of them in places such as on the railroad tracks or on streets. Over time, they would probably pay for themselves in not having to replace stolen carts or pay someone to drive around and pick them up from where they are abandoned in surrounding areas.

99 Cents Store has the wheel locking carts too. It’s fun to watch anyone trying to leave the lot with one of their carts. They can’t believe that it JUST WON’T MOVE!!!!

It's the Surfliner 796 headed for San Diego. They're still in Goleta and can't get the air pressure back up after the hoses were knocked apart by the cart. Carts on one track and debris in the other track.
