Attention Parents and Educators: The Dubin Learning Center is Closing

The Dubin Learning Center, which has served the children of this community since 1979, is closing its doors, as Deidre and Barry Dubin enter retirement and embark on new journeys and adventures.

On Saturday, March 3 from 12-3 at 112 West Cota Street, they are selling their time-tested—and fun—instructional materials that include all sorts of board games, study aids, arts and crafts supplies, a wide assortment of books, flashcards, and a wealth of worksheets covering just about every aspect of learning to read, write and spell, and do math. Many of these materials cannot be found these days, but their educational value never goes out of style!

Also available are a collection of vintage wicker, furnishings for a classroom or home office (desks, chairs, filing cabinets, bookshelves, couch, etc.) and lots of office supplies. Many great deals to be had!

All proceeds will be donated to the photographic project “1 in 5: The Face of Dyslexia in Santa Barbara,” a project of Dyslexia Santa Barbara.

Feel free to inform friends, neighbors, colleagues, educators and other community members about the sale.
