Kielle Horton Named Santa Barbara Young Professional of the Year

The Junior League of Santa Barbara (JLSB) is proud to announce that their President, Kielle Horton, was awarded the “Santa Barbara Young Professional of the Year” Award at the Santa Barbara Young Professionals Clubs (SBYPC) 22nd Annual Holiday Benefit event this past Saturday, December 8th. This award honors a young professional who has exhibited a level of excellence in the areas of leadership, community involvement, and entrepreneurship in the Santa Barbara community. Other nominees for Young Professional of the Year included two additional Junior League of Santa Barbara members: American Red Cross Director, Kimberly Coley, and Real Estate Agent, Kat Perello Hitchcock,  along with Ian Cutler and Danielle De Smeth.

“I am truly humbled and honored to have been chosen as this year’s Young Professional of the Year,” said Ms. Horton. “My fellow nominees are all exceptionally talented men and women who are each deserving of recognition, not only for their professional achievements but also for the ways they contribute to our community.  My supportive family, friends, colleagues and fellow Junior League of Santa Barbara members make up the foundation of anything I am able to count as an accomplishment, and I owe them more thanks than I could adequately express. Lindsey Communications and the Junior League of Santa Barbara have allowed me to both works and serve in areas that I am passionate about, for which I am invariably grateful. Ms. Horton is Vice President of Lindsey Communications Santa Barbara, a national media strategy, training, and advisement firm, and Vice President of the Lindsey Family Foundation. She is also actively involved with a multitude of local non profits including The Salvation Army of Santa Barbara, ASAP Animal Shelter Assistance Program, Providence Santa Barbara, El Montecito Presbyterian Church and Early School, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Southern California, 4 Kids 2 Kids, Domestic Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County, MOXI The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation, Girls Inc. of Carpinteria, the Santa Barbara Zoo, Compassion International, the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, Wonderfully Made and many others.

The Junior League of Santa Barbara is excited to celebrate Kielle for this meaningful honor.
