One resident of New Cuyama is displaced after a fire ripped through their home early Wednesday evening.
At 3:46 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded with three engines to the 4800 block of Morales Street for a reported structure fire.
Crews immediately began an aggressive attack on the blaze and were able to keep the fire to just one room.
There were no injuries but the resident is now displaced.
The cause is under investigation.
