Driving northbound and one oh one through the curve at Gaviota, it started hailing, light at first and then moderate sized hail. I thought the windshield was going to start cracking, but it never did. It was hard to see with the rain too, people driving about 30 miles an hour with their flashers on. Only lasted about two minutes, but a frightful two minutes, as it was the first time I drove in hail.

LOTS of hail downtown early evening
Only lasted about 30 seconds on the Lower Riviera, but the sonic boom of thunder right after was amazing.
