Edhat StaffA woman died after a solo traffic collision on Highway 246 near Buellton on Wednesday evening.
At 9:30 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Highway 246, east of Drum Canyon, and found an SUV on its side. They were unable to find the driver of the vehicle and then discovered a female, of unknown age, was pinned underneath it. She died on the scene, reports Public Information Officer Mike Eliason.
California Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
