The University of California Degree Completion Program (UCDCP) is excited to announce the launch of its Degree Completion Program, designed to help Californians who have some college but no degree, successfully earn their Bachelor’s degree, and advance their career. As part of this consortium, UCSB PaCE will support the first cohort starting in Winter 2023.

The UC Degree Completion Program is a state-funded initiative that focuses on providing academic advising services, career counseling, and access to unique course pathways to help address the various barriers that may have prevented students from successfully completing their degree. The program is designed to bridge the gap between where students are and where they want to be, offering comprehensive support for readmission and financial aid navigation.

“The importance of a degree can not be underestimated, especially in California. But sometimes life takes a turn, and education takes a back seat.  We now have a program to help you complete your degree. Come and take advantage of it. Complete your degree!”
– Robert A. York, Dean, UCSB Professional and Continuing Education

Completion of the program can lead to additional career options, increased income potential, and a better life for students and their families. Participants will also gain the benefits of a UC education and degree, the satisfaction of finishing what they started, and the opportunity to set a great example for their children.
