Revenge on Online Scammers

A Facebook friend of mine that I haven't heard from in a while sent me an odd message. I quickly realized it was some kind of scammer that hacked her account. I reached out to my friend who confirmed it wasn't them so I decided to have a little fun and try to scam the scammer.
I figured the more time they were interacting with me, the less time they'd have to scam someone else. As a reminder, the "Community Block Grant" scam is pretty pervasive. I did end up reporting the accounts after our exchange. Below are screenshots of my interaction, all names have been blocked out. Enjoy, I sure did!

Jul 20, 2022 09:54 PMHAHAHAHAHA! I am dead over here! This was CLASSIC! I do the same thing to them, even have a facebook group that shares posts about messing w/ scammers. What I like to do is when they say to click on the link, I then find some kind of adult toy website, paste the link in the conversation & then ask them why their link directed me to that site & if they're trying to sell me adult products.

She was on a panel about Building an Intelligent Forms Management Strategy at an Adobe Government Forum on May 10, 2022. :-)
