Taste of El Encanto: Colgin Cellars Experience

The iconic El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, Santa Barbara–a tranquil hideaway perched in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains–will host its latest Taste of El Encanto, a two-night event featuring Colgin Cellars, one of Napa Valley’s most esteemed estates, on September 12-14, 2021. The Taste of El Encanto, Colgin Cellars Experience invites guests to enjoy an array of exclusive dinners and tasting workshops hosted by Paul Roberts, COO of Colgin Cellars, and El Encanto’s in-house experts in the hotel’s stunning coastal setting. A host of additional delights are sure to turn this Santa Barbara escape into a vintage memory.

After three decades sustaining and enriching the history of California’s Napa Valley, Colgin Cellars is celebrated today as one of California’s most revered wineries. Their focus lies in crafting elegant wines of freshness, perfume, and minerality from a few of Napa’s esteemed hillside vineyards. Beginning in 1992, Ann Colgin selected unique sites with distinctive geological profiles to craft red wines of harmony and precision, capturing the intensity and luscious fruit of the Napa Valley. Taste of El Encanto guests can anticipate an oenological epiphany while ensconced in this illuminating and treasured retreat.

Outside of signature event experiences, guests will have ample time to enjoy El Encanto’s seven acres of lush gardens in the tranquil American Riviera neighborhood. Afternoons can be spent exploring Downtown Santa Barbara on the hotel’s complimentary electric bikes, lounging by the hotel’s zero-edge infinity pool, or buried deep in a book on guests’ private balconies and terraces.
