Postponed - Volunteer Fair
Due to Governor Newsom’s declaration that large gatherings in California should be canceled through the end of March, we have decided to postpone this event. We will announce a new date once it’s confirmed. Thank you for your understanding.
Help the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center connect people to nature for the betterment of both! They have volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and interests.
Think butterflies are the best thing since sliced bread? Take flight in the museum's Butterfly Pavilion! Is the sea your cup of tea? The Sea Center needs you on their crew. Are you a science-hungry student? Satisfy your craving for knowledge and your community service requirement to graduate from high school. Love the whole enchilada of nature and science? Museum docents enjoy an all-you-can-learn banquet of facts. Sample the delights of the volunteer menu, and discover what opportunity suits your taste.
During this event at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, friendly supervisors will describe upcoming opportunities in the Butterfly Pavilion (opens May 23, 2020) and ongoing opportunities at the Museum and Sea Center.
Admission to the Museum is free for attendees of the fair. Check in beside the Blue Whale skeleton.
