With this festive season comes a lot of joy in reconnecting with family and friends; these reunions also might bring up new concerns for a loved one displaying abnormal changes in cognition and behavior.
On Tuesday, December 13th at 10am, Kathryn Westland, MPH, Director of Programs for the Alzheimer’s Association, will be hosting a special workshop to help you map out a strategy and script for approaching these delicate conversations with a parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling or friends with finesse and respect. There is no one perfect way to have this conversation and it might take a few tries but we are here to support you through each step.Â
This workshop will take place from 10am-11:30am at the Alzheimer’s Association’s Santa Barbara office,Â
1528 Chapala Street, Suite 204
Santa Barbara 93101
