My gauge reads 5/8". The 101 between Fairview and Turnpike was flooding in the left lane last night during a downpour (as usual). Drivers scrambled for the centre lane but no mishaps. Thanks for the rainfall totals link.

I know the link is ridiculous, but here's SB County rain totals. What a pleasure!! Very healthy amounts in many places, more rain here than at places farther north. My rain barrels overflowed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://rain.cosbpw.net/rain.php?view=8bc6e88f-eeab-4281-9d92-3d723016e945&view_group=91de5db1-343e-77fd-8c96-dcc48c5f1e53&group=d80f114d-de82-a35d-ff28-ca9aab7e41f2&format_datetime=%25Y-%25m-%25d+%25H%3A%25i%3A%25S&data_start=2018-03-01+11%3A05%3A39&data_end=2018-03-01+11%3A05%3A39&rain_class=10&live_data=true&refresh=off

The last two comments, one of them mine, were to a previous post regarding keyboard cleaning. Snafu at editing hdqtrs: Nothing to do with today's topic.

I don't like the headline "rain to pass through Santa Barbara." Sounds like it's not going to stop here for a chat, even. We are so DRY! Planning to wash windows today, that should help.

Thanks, Eastbeach. Thanks a lot. I'll leave a window open and leave a power tool in the driveway to counter your gutter clearing.

Try blowing out your keyboard upside down with canned air or vacuum w/an attachment without actually touching it. Not eating directly over the keyboard and washing your hands before typing help prevent the problem.
