Garbage Truck Fire Near Ellwood

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a garbage truck that caught fire in the 500 block of Coronado in Goleta on Wednesday.
Around 9:30 a.m., crews were on the scene of a refuse truck, another term for a garbage truck, whose load had caught fire. It was extinguished and there was no runoff threat, reports the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The exact cause is under investigation.
