I am wondering if there are any organizations doing a Giving Tree in town. I am especially interested in any ones that are focusing on fixed- and/or low-income seniors. I'd love to gift some of those. Ones for teens might also be of interest.

Exactly, Tinker.

As the number of impoverished seniors and disabled county residents continues to grow, Unity’s Seniors Helping Seniors Center works to fulfill basic needs requests from hospitals, senior service centers, and other organizations helping seniors and disabled citizens throughout the County who are homebound or disabled. In a typical year, 600 senior volunteers serve over 3,100 homebound seniors and disabled adults with customized care packages based on their individual needs.

During the winter holiday season, thousands of Santa Barbara County children, along with their families, select their favorite toys and gifts (new and handmade)."

Lack of a Gifting Tree ain't no reason to be stumped about pining for holiday giving. Conifer with your local Seniors group.
