I just saw the Oscar Mayer weinermobile near Alameda Park downtown. It was pulled over on Anacapa in front of the church, couldn't snap a pic.

The big Wienermobiles were not built here. A smaller version ("A smaller, lighter Wienermobile based on a Mini Cooper was created by Prototype Source in Santa Barbara, California. It is believed only one was ever created.") was. Not clear if it is what was spotted. Here is an interesting history: https://www.motorbiscuit.com/forget-ferrari-two-wienermobiles-are-for-sale/

Actually that is FALSE. Upon further research, it can be EASILY FOUND that the Wienermobile and its history in our beautiful city of Santa Barbara runs deep. The Wienermobile, yes has been around since 1936, however from the late 90s to 2016, it was BUILT in SB by Prototype Source. You’re about 10% right on that. #realnews
