Anderson Aquatics now offers a variety of innovative water fitness and rehabilitation programs for all ages in their 91-degree pool. Centrally located in the Funk Zone, you may remember this pool as the Diver’s Den, Anacapa Dive Center, or Muller Aquatic Center. With over 25 years of combined experience in the aquatics industry, Breanna and Travis Anderson have a passion for helping clients meet their health and wellness goals, whether that means recovering from surgery, reducing fall risk, improving athletic performance, or losing weight. Patrons can choose from personal training sessions or floating body work for more individualized attention, or they can join one of the 20+ weekly small group classes, like Aqua Yoga, Boot Camp, and Aqua Hips & Knees. Open pool hours are also available seven days a week for independent exercise.

The pool opens as early as 7am for early risers, and parking is available in the adjacent Garden Street Waterfront Parking Lot. A doctor’s referral is not required to participate.

“When Muller and Weber decided to close Muller Aquatic Center, we knew it would be a big loss for the community. Aquatic therapy achieves incredible results – not only for patients with arthritis and injuries, but for kids with special needs, too.” said Breanna Anderson, PT, DPT.

“I found this pool when I was preparing for knee surgery, and I’ve been coming ever since. Yoga in the water was vital to my knee rehab and overall core strength and balance. I love the unique programs here – Aqua Combat, Boot Camp, S’WET… you can’t find classes like this anywhere else.” said Gwen Wagy, long-term client.

“Our goal is to show the community that pools don’t have to be synonymous with swimming or traditional water aerobics classes. Working out in the pool can be a fun and effective way to improve your health for all ages and all ability levels.” said Travis Anderson, owner.

Anderson Aquatics is offering 50% off any class through the month of December. For more information and instructions on how to get started, please go to: www.anderson-aquatics.com.
