The City of Ventura is marking America’s 250th anniversary with a week-long series of community events culminating in the beloved Fourth of July Street Fair and Pushem-Pullem Parade, on Saturday, July 4. Festivities begin Saturday, June 27, with daily activities and events taking place throughout the City leading up to Independence Day.
Presented by the Rotary Club of Ventura-East, the Pushem-Pullem Parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Main Street in front of Cemetery Memorial Park and continues directly into the Street Fair. The parade is free and open to all ages, and no registration is required. Families are encouraged to decorate bicycles, scooters, strollers, and wagons and join the fun. Please note that motorized vehicles are not permitted.
The Fourth of July Street Fair will feature local artisan vendors, a Classic Car Exhibit on South Oak Street, live music and entertainment, a Kids’ Activity Area, Fire Department Activity Area, cornhole games, and more. Visitors can also enjoy Downtown Ventura’s shops and outdoor dining along Main Street.
A complimentary bike valet, provided by the City’s Transportation Division in partnership with Bike Ventura, will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the corner of Main and South Chestnut streets.

o Friday, July 3: Live Music at Ventura Harbor & Fireworks in Downtown Ventura
o Saturday, July 4: Street Fair & Pushem-Pullem Parade
