On the morning of Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Oxnard Police Commander Scott Aaron’s body will be escorted by police department personnel from the Orange County Coroner’s Office to the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, located at 2052 Howard Road in the city of Camarillo. The procession is set to depart from the Coroner’s Office in Santa Ana at 11:00 a.m.
Due to the unpredictable nature of highway travel, it is difficult to predict the time of arrival here in Ventura County. Based on possible projections, the procession may enter the County in Thousand Oaks: northbound on Highway 101 around 12:45 p.m., and may arrive at the Memorial Park in Camarillo around approximately 1:15 p.m.
Live updates regarding the procession’s location and updated E.T.A.’s will be provided in a post on the Oxnard Police Department Facebook page and on ‘X’ ( @oxnardpolice ).
The California Highway Patrol has requested that, for the safety of all involved, members of the public and partnering agencies who wish to pay their respects do so from freeway overpasses or other safe, designated locations. We respectfully ask that no vehicles or individuals attempt to join or follow the procession on the freeway. This guidance ensures a dignified, orderly procession and helps protect the safety of those participating and traveling along the route.
