Ojai Man Arrested for Stealing from Vehicles Throughout Ventura

On 5/5/2026, Ojai Patrol deputies responded to multiple reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the unincorporated area of Mira Monte, which had occurred overnight between 5/4/2026 and 5/5/2026.

Several victims reported their credit cards and personal identifying information had been stolen during the thefts. Their credit cards were later fraudulently used at businesses in Ojai and Ventura. Ojai Patrol deputies, in conjunction with the Ojai Detective Bureau, conducted a thorough investigation and were able to identify a suspect as (S) Wyatt Revard.

Later in the day, Ventura Police Officers responded to a theft in progress where Revard was attempting to use one of the Ojai Valley victim’s credit cards at establishments in the City of Ventura. Ventura Police Officers located and arrested Revard for several counts of PC 530.5(a)- Identity Theft, PC 22610(a)- Possession of a Stun Gun and a parole hold.  Revard was booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility.

Ojai Detectives learned of Revard’s arrest and contacted the Ventura Police Department regarding the circumstances of the arrest. Ojai Detectives collaborated with the Ventura Police Department to identify evidence linking Revard to the crime spree, as well as additional victims. Ojai Detectives supplementally booked Revard on four additional counts of PC 530.5(a)- Identity Theft.
