Authorities are investigating after a decomposed body was found on the beach at Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu on March 3, according to the VC Star.
Base personnel contacted the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office around 3:39 p.m. Tuesday regarding the discovery.
The sheriff’s major crimes unit is investigating, but there is no indication a crime has occurred, according to the report.
