On January 6 at 3:00 p.m., Oxnard Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Emanuel Estrella, 34 years old. Estrella’s passenger was on Post Release Community Supervision and subject to search.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located two firearms in the trunk of the vehicle. Additionally, Estrella, a convicted felon, was also found to be in possession of illegal drugs.
He was arrested for multiple drug and gun related offenses, including unlawful firearm possession by a convicted felon, and also while in possession of controlled substances.
