Summer is here and the Camarillo Police Department is ready to enjoy it with three “Cones with Cops” events! The Camarillo Police Department, in collaboration with Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District and local business Mister Softee would like to invite you to three events over the summer. These events are casual in nature where questions can be asked, and multiple police vehicles will be on display to see.
Members of the Camarillo Police Department will be at the listed park, on the below listed dates and times, with Mister Softee. We will be providing the first 150 children at each event with a free “Sheriff’s Cone.” The “Sheriff’s Cone” will be an ice cream cone rolled with yellow and green sprinkles, which represents the Sheriff’s Office uniform colors. Additional ice cream items and desserts on Mister Softee’s menu will be available for purchase. Only children will be given free cones until 150 youth are served.
During each event, guests will be able to visit with Camarillo Police Department personnel and get to see our police vehicles, including a patrol vehicle, motorcycle, and armored S.W.A.T. vehicle. We invite everyone to visit us and say hi, ask any questions you may have about law enforcement, and see our vehicles while enjoying an evening at the park while having some delicious ice cream. We are excited to visit with guests at these new summer events this year.
